Decided to use firefox instead. Cant stand not being able to press enter

Yah anyway, for those of u who didnt know, i applied for this hospital attachment thingy at gleneagles (canggih!) and today was my first day there. GettiNg attached to gleneagles wasnt a very good idea. It's so high class and they jaga the kebajikan of the patients like mad. It's like their top priority. So we don't get to do what other hospitals let the students do, like watching operations or follow doctors. They said it's bcos we're not med students. Oh weelllz, so i went there with my classmate, Jean Hwei. Saw a few other students from Taylor's (one of them was zhi ven's friend, samantha) and another girl from UITM, whereever that is.

We broke into groups of 2 and we were given a schedule. I was group 1 with Jean and we were assigned to the Imaging Department. We got to see all those canggih canggih machines for MRI's, CT scans, Mammography, X-Rays, Ultrasound bla bla bla. The best part was they have this program in the computer where they can construct a person's face with nothing but his/her bone structure!! It's SOOOOO CSI! So yeah, they sorta explained how everything in there works but i obviously was kinda blur with all those medical terms -.-! After that, it got kinda boring. So we left!

Then during our break, we got coupons to eat at the staff cafeteria. Food was sooo TOTALLY HORRIBLE! But it was free so i guess i shouldn't complain =P! Then after that, my mom told me to go look for Wei Yang's mom in his dad's clinic if i wanna watch some minor surgery. So i went lor, and his dad said come back at 5pm if i wanna watch.

After that, the next department we went to was the paediatric department. Quite cool la if i get to work there, especially since i love kids. Get to check on all the cute lil kiddiess!!!! The manager there or sth liddat brought us around. She was kinda cute. Looks a lot like San Chai from Meteor Garden! =P Lolz! There was this lil indian baby so cutee!!! But dunno what's his prob, he started crying when they took his temperature. Not that it hurt or anything. Put the thermometer under his ketiak only what =P! Then there was this kid who had dengue. We got to watch how they cucuk the needle into his arm for that drips thing u need when u kena dengue. Then that's about it there larh. Quite liked it there.

So after all that we went back to WY's dad's clinic at 5 then they told us to wait coz i think he had to attend to all the lil kiddies in the clinic first b4 he can leave to go conduct the surgery. Waited quite long but aiyah who cares! Get to see surgery can d! Hmm yeah then so happen, the kid who had the surgery was the same baby who cried while taking his temperature. He's only 1 yr + ! Quite kesianted.His heart got problem la. Not very sure what's wrong with it also. Yeah so wy's dad had to put in 2 tubes (one thru the vein, one thru the artery) into his blood vessels near the groin. He just had to insert the tubes thru somewhere near the groin n then dunno how he push it up until it reaches the heart la. So there was no gory stuff. Just a few drops of blood =P. Then he injected iodine into the heart thru the tube as a dye to see what's wrong with the boy's heart using some x-ray thing lah. Coz x-ray cannot penetrate through iodine (sth like using plumbum but takkan they inject plumbum meh?). Yeah so we could see the baby's heart thru x-ray n like when they inject the iodine, could see the iodine moving along the bronchiol or whatever u call that in the lungs, as the heart pumps. Then could also see that the baby's pulmonary artery was really small. And that was one of the probs lo. And there's also a hole i think in one of the dunno vein or artery. So that surgery was only to check on the heart i think. Not sure what they were saying. Then later on they'll operate his heart n fix the hole or sth liddat.

Klah that's about it. Malas type d. Dunno if u understand what i'm saying anot. Dun really know how to explain properly coz even i'm not very sure myself. Overall it was okay la. But imaging was boring tho! Tmr's gonna be my second day there. Hopefullly it'll be much better!
