Lily Cole could lose millions in potential earnings, her agency has said after the British teen supermodel’s decision to ditch the catwalk for a degree in English and politics.

The 18-year-old, whose income from her four-year modelling career is said to total £10mil (RM70.19mil), will start school at Cambridge University in October.

Her advisers at Storm Models, a British agency which also represents Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford, has expressed support for her move but told the Daily Mail that the break will cost her millions in lost earnings.

But that is unlikely to bother the teenager.

In town for the Singapore Fashion Festival 2006 in March, she told Urban: “Being on the runway, it’s nothing, it’s just walking up and down.”

Lily, who has graced the cover of British Vogue four times and starred in campaigns for Prada, Chanel and Moschino, is proof that beauty and brains can co-exist.

She scored straight As in English, history, drama and philosophy for her AS levels - Advanced Subsidiary Level examinations which students in Britain take a year before the A levels.

She was offered a place in Cambridge based on those scores.

whats ur opinion on this girl's decision.....put urself in her shoes and think la....cambridge...or modelling.....gosh...10 million pounds and shes only 18....and talking about embracing the cover for vogue FOUR TIMES.....amazing......and 4 A's in AS.......daymmm..........well...i think.....for me.........i think i would take the cambridge decision too lor...coz i think....life is all about experience...and since she already done cat walk for prada and chanel..and appeared on vogue 4 friggin times....i think she already gotten the experience of that job...and now she got a chance to experience cambridge.....hell yea i will take it....and mebbe after uni she can start modeling again..land herself another 10 million POUNDS contracttt...DAMN LA..the fact she can earn money JUST LIKE DAT........and shes only 18...but my dad said....he would take the contract......i duno la..i wanna hear YOUR opinion
