HAPPY NEW YEARS 2007!

Just like Sam said a few entries ago...no procrastination!
And since i can't sleep and in my room alone now with my Dad's lappie, i shall blog the events that occurred at my place.

Unfortunately, this time around, we missed all the photo-taking sessions because we didn't really have a proper camera and i guess we just forgot about it. Lol.
So bear with the photoless-all-words post.

Lets see..first ones to arrive were Michelle and Capri, around 8 plus close to 9 o'clock at night, followed by Amanda Lau a few seconds later. They ate sushi, drank beer and just talked about stuff, before Sam came around 9 plus, and then they ate somemore and talked about more stuff. Sounds boring but you just gotta be there to be in the talking mood. Lol. Oh and Jon Chay dropped by as well. (damn sweet boyfriend kan?)

Then, around 10, people from Sashya's party finally came i.e Aaron K, Nat Lim, Adrian, Ian, Amresh and a college friend, Zaza. They then proceeded to eat, talk and play cards with everyone before Yi Wayn and Billy finally came around 11.

Oh and we broke the Grey Goose Vodka bottle and read all the resolutions that you guys who came last year wrote on pieces of paper and put them in. I think most of them did come true though. =D.

Except one who wanted to get married. God bless that dude.

So then, we chilled out till 12 am, the start of the new year and saw the fireworks display..sadly KLCC's fireworks (if any) wasnt clearly visible. After that we chilled again abit before Capri and Mic left to fetch Jon to KL Central, followed by Adrian, Ian and Zaza. I had to wait for Nat and Amanda's parents to come to fetch them before i could go off, so i kinda dragged the rest of gang back to wait for me, sorrry guys! So at about 1.30 am we decided that Amanda would be better off driven home by Amresh rather than wait for her parents which seemed to have went MIA (ironically, just when they were about to leave, Amanda's dad finally called to say he OVERSLEPT...LMAO)

After that, me, Sam, Wayn, Mic, Cap and Billy decided to go to mamak at a place near Ampang point. The language barrier definitely existed as we couldn't understand the guy taking the orders and vice versa. Kinda funny when you think about it. At about 2 plus we then decided to go to LookOut Point which was near Ampang to look at the view (again) of KL and the serenity of it at 3 in the morning. Hehe. Billy led us there and it was almost pitch black as we climbed the tower up to the 'Look Out Point' which had a pretty nice view of KL. We then descended the stairs guided by handphone lights (lol) and asked permission to sit in a restaurant which had remnants of a New Year's party held beforehand. The manager of the place was kind enough to let us sit in the restaurant though it was about to close and even gave us Resolution Cards to fill in and stick on the walls. (ironically also, Yi Wayn's parents were there less than 2 hours ago)

When we saw the restaurant finally closing, we took our cue and left the place; it was already about 3 plus then. Then we proceeded our way back home, in which Wayn actually drove Billy's car (and Capri overtoooooook her nyahhahahhaa). Capri fetched me back to my place before going back to Michelle's to crash for the night.

So now i'm back but suprisingly, not so tired.
Ok, time to look for some food.
