How i spent my Merdeka

It was really Merdeka for me today as i did not study at all even though i have Psychology paper 2 exam trials tmrw morning >.<" Well done to me if i screw up which i partly did already since i mixed up the words psychological & physiological on the essay part in my first paper. Duhh!

Instead of studying, I went out with the one and only Rhino Cheah Liek Hou today to catch up with each others lives & give him a break frm his endless traning. Well, he's pretty much the same. Weird as ever. Makes me laugh like crazy. Doesnt eat paper anymore though. Good thing he's substituted paper for more staple food, of which we had a lot today.

I just discovered that it's really nice to take pictures of food & blog it up so i shall do that now. Activate ur salivating system a bit :)

He had this Saba Soba which is buckwheat noodles with mackeral. But he wasnt happy with it cause he expected it to look like this

Then he started nagging me instead cause b4 that he asked me which noodles would be nicer & i picked that. Not my fault if the food doesnt look like it does in the menu right!! Which it doesnt most of the time.

It's an absolute must for me to have my favourite ("Sashimiiiii~!") everytime i eat at a Jap restaurant. Mr Tak Tau Malu started taking all the plates of sake - salmon sashimi on rice - from the revolving thingy & trying to decide which had the plumpest slice of salmon on it. Then he put back the rest -_-" Really...

Yummy~!! But the sake looks a bit pale here.

U know the fish roe sushi we usually have? The one with all the tiny tiny fish eggs? Well, today i decided to try the bigger version of that instead. It's called ikura instead of ebiko! It's really good. But then i discovered..

After removing the 'decorative' cucumber slices, the other side was empty of fish roe! *Tulan* Sushi King deem kiamsiap okay..

Stupid guy trying to be creative. He shares the same passion as I for Golden Ball!

There should be two Golden Balls & 1 crabstick temaki instead if u know what i mean.. ;) Oli, porno lunchboxes eh? Hahah..

Went to watch 'Snakes On A Plane' after that & it was horrible. Not in a Kung Fu Mahjong horrible way, but in a sick gory way. Dont get me wrong, not all gore is bad. Take Sin City & Kill Bill for example. Now that be some classy shit. But this was just bad. Wont spoil it for those of u who havent watched, but it's seriously gelifiying ler. Keeps u glued to ur seat though. (And ur feet off the floor). To keep our minds on happier things, we went to Kim Gary after that~

Also ordered a ribena lemon ice blended thingy & being fussy as usual, he complained that the lemon was supposed to be on the TOP like it was in the picture. But it was at the bottom. So i said, "Got difference!" & he seriously wanted to give it back to the waiter & tell him it wasnt what he ordered but u know the paper system in Kim Gary, kenot tipu wan.

He sent me home after that. We have another Fast & Furious freak on the loose besides Capri. Heheh.. And that is all for now. Food glorious food~

Funkiest taxi ride ever.

Today was LameAssNuisance class day and since it's the holidays and my parent weren't home, i had to catch a cab to the Setiawangsa station (bloody taxi companies, called like an hour and a half before they finally sent one to my place)

So anyway, as i got into the SUNLIGHT cab, i noticed that the cab has been PIMPED up..well only one feature anyway..and that feature is..:

Yeah well, its a small video display which plays movies and video clips. I had the (un)pleasure to listen and watch video clips like Nasty Girl, HollaBack Girl, Get Right and some other hip-hop songs that i dont even know.

Talk about getting your money's worth. Kinda.

Sheepish, old men

I was walking through Mid Valley yesterday with a friend of mine when this old man with grey hair,holding a plastic bag came up to me and called me a 'leng chai', smiled, grinned then called me a 'leng chai' again, and then he walked away.

Of course, i was too shock to say anything la, so when i turned around to look at him, i saw him still looking at me with a sheepish smile and a horny look.

Goes to show that these days, you cant even walk in a shopping mall without fear of getting harrassed.

On another note, Monster House was good, you guys should go watch it!..

And on a more patriotic note, are we gonna do anything for Merdeka Day? I managed to grabbed a few tickets for a fiesta going to be held tomorrow at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon, its in partnership with our colleges and a few others apparently. 8am-12pm. Anyone feeling extra patriotic?

Who knows, we could show ourselves at the yearly parade held at god knows where every year on Thursday morning.

Japanese Lunchboxes

As some of you know, my sis just got back from her student exchange program in Aussie. When she described her experiences there, i started reminiscing about our times in Japan... *emo* Then a friend forwarded this mail to me of dem cute jap lunchboxes which reminded me of the lunchboxes Chinami's mom packed for us! But of course they weren't as canggih as these! It's too cute to miss.

I think her eyes are made of wasabi. How cool is that. Lol!

My ultimate fav! It's so cute I would never eat it!

Even a Jack Skellington lunchbox!! Those Japs are so creative & free it's insane.

What the heck happened to the blog?

Well, i finally gave it a 180 degrees turn, and voila!...you get the newly improved Twelve + One blog.

And if you look carefully, the time is 4.18..AM!
Spent the whole night doing this, and trust me, it ain't easy man. So you guys better LOVE it.

There are some quirks though, like for some odd reason, this blog can't read "fancy" letters already..if you look at the main title, i had to change it to normal fonts so it could be legible.
And Istee, your Halobean nick ain't working with the blog well (look over to the contributors part on your right, your nick is barely recognisable) Or is it just my comp?

Anyway, me need to sleep.
And bye Ding Nen!..you'll be missed. We demand presents the next time you come back.

outdated + recent events

well most of you have been asking about how my ADP prom went and stuff so here goes.. the prom was on the 6th of August in the Victorian Ballroom, Holiday Villa Hotel lolz!.. At first when they first started the prom thingy i wanted to go so badly.. i even had a fight wif jon who didnt wana go.. but in the end he gave in la.. den shortly before the prom i suddenly dont feel lik goin also heheh.. so i totally didnt do anything special about this prom.. hair/make up all do myself.. and ALL the accessories also i reuse wut i wore on our high school prom.. hahaah call me cheap skate but i didnt reli care at all.. so jon came to pick me up and he brought me a bouquet of flowers XD hahah! that was very nice.. his sister and her boyfriend were our "escorts" for the night and his sister was our "driver" also.. haha quite funny la..

Reached holiday villa.. saw tristan all dressed up which was a surprise.. coz he said he wasnt going.. apparently he was asked to be the MC for the event.. den we went in and bla bla.. before the food came there was dis performance by a group of ADP students led by tiffany toh.. yes ex mc gal.. hehe ooo did i mention i saw khay khoon, kingston, delia and moey su en at the prom too.. that was kidna an odd moment.. so yeah.. the students sang a few songs namely "aint no mountain high", "at the beginning", and duno wut else la.. den tiffany dressed lik damn skimpy and all when they sang "buttons" lolz! she was supposedly nicole la.. it was..erm.. alrite haha!
The food that they served was chinese food.. everything was ok until the fried rice came.. omg HORRIBLE.. i totally felt lik puking haha! the other performances there was the guy singing wonderwall and a girl playin on the guitar for him.. not bad not bad.. he can sing.. den this guy who supposedly won the dance competition in taylors came and perform (enli might know who).. a group of 5 girls who wore lik reli sexy also came and dance la.. obviously they danced to buttons and remix wif alot of other songs.. they were alrite. at least they can bust a move ahhaa!. so thats basically it.. kenot be compared to our prom in terms of the company.. i practically didnt know anyone there.. the dancin part was crap la.. first song was slow for king and queen to dance.. then jon n i waited for the next slow song to come up.. ahah! as usual la thatz the only slow song.. so we wanted to go play play.. imagine jon n i dancing lik dorks to the fast music.. heheeh i dont even wana think abt it anymore..lolz! den we went home. end of story =p

Next up......my pangkor trip.. i think nobody knew about except for mic and sam before i went for the trip coz i think i mentioned to mic about it durin church and i wanted to borrow sam's bikini top hahaha!.. i left on tuesday, 15th of August and came back on friday 18th of August (i missed the dinnerr!!!!) so okay.. we went by bus.. took around 4-5 hrs.. coz the bus driver went somewhere else and dropped passengers.. there were 11 of us at the time.. reached the place, got on a ferry that takes us to the island.. then took a taxi (mind u the taxis there are PINK VANS hahah! damn cute) taxi took us to our hotel.. saw the first sight we all went O-M-G.. damn shitty place.. then there was dis malay girl among us ahaha damn siu jeh.. complain complain and complain.. after that she was labeled "princess" haha! we paid the money for one night.. 2 guys went around hotel hunting.. there were 3 rooms la.. all the rooms smell funny.. but got air-con.. one guy brought the shesha paip.. so the guys sheshad for lik the whole evening.. i belum warm up so i joined cheryl and another guy to walk around la.. then later we went to play water in the sea.. den we washed all the sand off our clothes and bodies by jumping into a swimming pool hehe! oh u know lib jien.. apparently hez a swimmer and he brought his entire snorkelling set.. the flippers/the boots/the goggles.. everything hahah! looks damn funny walkin around wif the flippers.. so clownish..

So anyway.. night came.. den we all sat down and started the drinkin session.. we played devil's deck.. which we can play in our next alcoholic party =D this is how it works.. each one draw one card. if the card is between 2 and 8 den u get to delegate the shots for everyone.. lets say mic got a number 6.. she can give 2 shots to sam 2 shots to enli and 2 shots to wayn.. or sth lidat.. can give one each also but must add up to 6.. get it? den yeah.. if u get number 9 it is "make a rule" for example sam gets a number 9 and her rule is that oli must drink one shot for every card drawn so every round oli must drink. ok number 10 card is a toilet pass.. if u got no toilet pass kenot go toilet haha! can give to ppl wan la.. then when u get a "J" it is bust a rhyme..so the person who drew that card starts wif a verse lets say "twinkle twinkle little star" den u gotta rhyme wif it and say erm "im not wearin a bra" haha it goes on until some one kenot rhyme den he has to drink. "Queen" is name a brand. the person who draws it will come up wif lik a brand lik clothing line/drinks/cars/ wtv la.. if kenot name.. den gotta drink. "king" is happy hour where everyone drinks one shot.. "Ace" is u drink ur own shot.. so yeah.. we played that whole night.. i drank lik 20 or more shots.. lolz beat lik 3 guys.. HERO OF THE NIGHT man.. yeah wehh ahahah!.. but of coz there were 2 other guys whose tolerance level DAMN HIGH.. so one guy ended up takin care of me coz i was goin crazy dy..lolz! and it took 4 guys to put me to sleep.. i went to roll all over the beach.. they had to make me change and stuff.. of coz no one took advantage la.. and apparently i was trying to climb up a pole lolz! alot of weird stuff i did and said.. one guy had to dust the sand off my feet before i enter the room hahaha!.. damn funny la.. i was treated lik a baby XD

So yeah the next day they found another apartment.. damn clean.. penthouse apartment.. 3 rooms.. so it was all good.. stayed there for the next two nights.. throught out the whole trip rite.. i only slept lik 12 hrs.. most of the time spent drinking.. sheshaing.. and singing.. haha when we're desperate enough.. we started singing old school songs lik bsb/westlife/98 degrees lolz!.. it was funny..ooo and i learnt how to blow the "O" shape with the shesha haha! it was cooool.. apart from the lack of sleep everythin was ok la.. AND we had lack of food too.. there was once rite.. i didnt eat from 9pm until 3.30pm the next day u know.. dat was crazy.. i was SOOOO cranky.. didnt imagine myself being dat cranky.. we had lack of water also.. i had dis humongous ulcer on my GUMS u know.. so i was practically dehydrated lik crap summor very limited water.. oh wells.. besides that everything was damn nice la!.. got to know those ppl abit more.. that was cool..

i think thats it la dont wana bore u guys hahaha! sorry if its too long.. XD

So as i was eating dinner with my parents, we started to talk about all the current snatch thieves and how dangerous society is nowadays when my mum suddenly brought up this really funny story...but true..about how people are so desperate that they are starting to steal pasar malam baskets with all the fish, chicken, veggies and all..

Meow~

Hey hey~

For those who didn't know (Which I'm sure Shann doesn't, considering that she just sent me a msg yesterday, while i was at the transit in Taipei, to go out ><") ...I'm currently in U.S =) haha..just reached some hours ago =p Despite the heat wave only going away last week and it still being summer here, the weather's pretty cooling at the moment...exactly like Genting's cool weather in fact. Guess i was worried for nothing before this? =/ But then again, it's the middle of the night now..i've yet to experience the weather during the day ><" Heard it's pretty hot =( Oh, it's 6.15 am here now btw..and I'm still so wide awake. 10 hours difference from kl if I'm not mistaken..took my breakfast on the plane before touching down and supper the minute i met up with my cousin whom I've not seen in 9,10 years! XD Whatever happened to lunch and dinner? =/

Anyways, just to let all of u know where i am...dad's chasing me off to bed d. Lolz. Cya in 3 weeks =)

New Found Allergy

After 18 years of feeling lucky for not having any allergies.. suddenly only.. this year.. i figured that im allergic to LIPSTICK ='( . There were a couple of incidents that led me to this conclusion.

1. Remember that time when we stopped by the skin food store after a movie to grab some nail polish and stuff, they gave me this sample of pear essence supposed to apply on my face after toner and before moisturizer. so i thought that skin food is a reliable brand.. sample also use only la.. testing.. mana tau the very same day.. a layer of red stuff appeared above my upper lip.. it feels damn damn dry.. and i felt so dehydrated.. after that i thought i was allergic to ONLY the product.

2. On sam's birthday dinner night, Istee bought like a whole box of mini lipstick for the gals and each of us were to select 2 mini tubes rite.. So on the next day, i felt lik fat-hauing.. so i put both the colors on my lips.. half half la.. i tot it was nice so yeah that was it. After a while the same effect as incident 1 happened.. bloody red thingy on my upper lip.. damn yong sui wei i tell u.. i think most of you have seen it haha! Until then i thought it was the lipstick problem.. maybe it was made of come cacat materials or wut ( no offense istee =p ) but here comes incident number 3.

3. On the day of my ADP prom, of course gotta put make up and everything bla bla bla.. i was actually rushing thru everything coz jon was already waiting downstairs while i was still in my pyjamas.. So yea.. and a while ago my mom bought alot of cosmetics from some sale.. i duno wut sale was it but it was cheap so she bought alot of cosmetics and facial stuff from there.. big brands like Christine Dior/Loreal/etc etc. There's this lipstick which is lik.. light pink but got glitter.. so i thought it would go well wif my dress and all.. so i used it la.. i brought the lipstick to prom summor meaning i used it more than once that night.. so yeah SAME REACTION.. until lik now as im typing this entire thing.

ITS HORRIBLE... i hate it.. now i kenot "ban leng" ady =( and to think that last time i was only willing to put lipstick if ever i was made to put make up.. sigh this is so sad.

plz people..i really need ur help

hey people...i really need ur help and guidance now...like seriously....im stuck in a situation where i dunno wat i wanna study for uni ..and i need to start finding info...doing research for my personal statement already.........the thing is....i dunno wat i like.....i have no liking towards any subject...as far as science is concern..i hav no special liking towards any of them...mebbe i MIGHT like the arts type la...but too bad im not exposed to it...so i dunno....ok..i noe alot of people end up following wat their dad does...but too bad...i dun really hav interest in wat he does...btw..he does engineering....so yea.............i really envy people hu has the goal ........as in..they noe wat they want...they noe wat they like la...its like....they already noe it......but its such a pity i dun hav such a goal because all these while i just wanted to be a celeb.....and please...dun tell me "u wanna be celeb..just go be la" .....if its that easy.....there wont be any idol shows for idol wannabes...........and the probability of the celeb shit hapening is like 0.00001%....so i need a degree....as in....another alternative la...so now i need to choose this shit,....and im really really clueless la..i need u all to help me decide.........and im asking out of desperation and despair.......i cannot tell u wat i like...but i can tell u wat i dun like.....and trust me...every course u tell me......i hav things to dislike about.......urgh.....if i cant make up my mind in 2 weeks time...i might just hav to throw a dice...and live with it...and if i dun like it later on..i will be regretting every single second of my life la.........but WAT TO DO.....really hope that all of you can participate in this discussion la....coz im really...like....despair...haha.......some people tell me...if u dunno...why not just do engineering since ive been doing science all my life....but eww.....i dunno la..i DONT MIND...but i dun think its my thing la...but if no choice...i dun mind la.....altho i might be cursing all my life later on .......now its like......there are 100 doors in front of me......99 doors lead to hell....1 door to paradise.......so..i either suffer in regret....or truly enjoy my life la...............i dunno wat im talking now la....i dun even noe wat the doors shit gotta do with this dilemma..but yea...u get the picture right???.......ok law right....urgh....i really dunno man......everywan says its friggin hard....WELL I DUN MIND........ive come to a stage where.......I DUN MIND...as in......i juz set my mind on sumthin......dun care if i like or not...watever......juz suffer thru the whole course...and possibly suffer my whole life....i dunno la.........its so mentally torturing.........and i have people discouraging me doing law coz " ohh....ure so science....dun think its suitable...its so much reading ...its so much language.......but i hear from lawyers dat science people make good lawyers.....urgh,..i dun know man........well...econs.....i hav no idea wat econs is all about......i hav people discouraging me again " oh u better stick to wat u studying now man".......i really dunno la......and that career voyage thing...sum 200 question thing that supposedly giv me a picture of wat im suitable for ....DIDNT GIV ME A CLEAR PICTURE......coz my highest score was 47....lowest score is 43 ( high score means ure really suitable for that job..its upon 100)...............................................so how.....,,,even a career test cannot tell me wat i want.......sum times i hate myself for all those useless celeb fantasies la....they are blurring me from realising wat i really like.........for those who knows wat they like and wanna do in life....i respect la.....good for u..omg..i think i need to see a counsellor man.......this sucksssss big time.........fcuk it.......i wanna be a WAG......urgh..i better stop coming up with more fantasies man......

Driver's Frustration

i tell you i am SOOOOOOO bloody annoyed at motorcylists.. dont you guys find them annoying on the road? is like they are the bug of the place..i duno wtv.. no offense to erm motorcyclist but there are just some ppl who just.. like to annoy cars i guess..

This annoying incident came about today la while i was on the way to hartamas.. this motorcyclist dressed in working clothes all.. was on his bike.. and he was riding in the middle of the lane -_-". ok den you'll say "overtake him la!" yea i tried.. that road is lik quite busy.. fast cars goin pass and all.. coz it was lik about 5 ish.. peak hour i guess.. so yeah.. i wanted to overtake him.. but i didnt exactly get the chance to do so.. so wtv.. tailed behind him for a while (he was goin at a very slow speed btw) and u know how i get when a slow vehicle is moving in front of me - IMPATIENT SIAL! Then i came to this traffic light.. quite a long queue.. (for cars).. dis bike fella went all the way to the front la.. so he kinda got a head start.. on the long big highway to hartamas.. the highway so big.. THE SAME GUY just has to be on the same lane dat i had to take to make my next turn.. riding at a very slow pace again.. its juz sooo annoying!!!

I naturally dun like to hon at motorcyclist coz i kesian them..lolz sorry la but yea.. duno why.. they look so flimsy and stuff but they are juz so irritating.. summor dis guy in workin clothes.. i can imagine him finish work.. very stress.. wana go home quickly and stuff.. so fine i didnt hon him.. in the car i was lik muttering to myself 'come on come on come on get ur butt OFF THE LANE'.. couldnt take it anymore.. overtook him and wanted to give him THE STARE while i drive pass him.. guess wut..---> fella busy smsing..-_-"

smsing while driving was already bad enuf but smsing while riding a motorbike?!?! i never knew that stuff existed until today ahha.. so i guess anything's possible.. but i swear.. motorcyclist irritates me to the max on the road..

LoLx mic.. damn sad rite..i think i was still having abit of diarrhea until today man.. ehehhe abit abit la not as teruk as u.. damn smart.. my mom gave me some tablets thingy on monday to stop it.. den she ask me to stop takin milk products for a while.. den i realized i CANNOT live without milk products.. i tried quite hard to stop but den.. i took lik.. cereal and milk, ice cream (baskin robbins XD), milo..eh milo got milk ar.. so anyways.. yeah even chocolate hahah!!.. damn i reli cannot live without milk.. so yeah i think until now still belum heal lagi haha! we're never going back to talipon =p

Most unluckiest week...

Was looking back at our Oct 2005 posts, it was when we first created this blog. haha fm was right! we were all damn semangat back then (with the exception of wy n sung la)! even yi wayn posted 1 or 2!

With reference to my title above, i shall tell u guys about my week.

1. i sprained my ankle (this was 1 week ago la but i'll still include it here). could hardly walk on the first day. had to hop around the house like a mad munky on one leg.

2. i had food poisoning on monday. n its not all those diarrhoea a bit then after that i was fine u know. i blardy puked more than TEN TIMES! n diarrhoea-ed about 7-8 times. i even had to skip my maths common test on tuesday. i dunno what caused it. it could be the Talipon food me, sam n cap ate on saturday after church. Cuz cap, kurwin n me also had food poisoning on monday. But it could also be the CABANA food i ate during lunch on monday. I ate fish head curry noodles n i think the santan in the curry was bad. Cuz my 2 classmates who took some of my food also had a lil bit of diarrhoea. In conclusion, taylor's ppl...DON'T EAT AT CABANA! and also SALMON STEAK (i know of 2 ppl who found maggots in their rice)

3. i FELL DOWN THE STAIRS. (ya laugh all u want but it ain't funny if it happened to u XD). hahaha juz kidding. i also thought it was damn funny. Was wearing socks n the floor was too slippery so i slipped n fell. Luckily it was only 2 errr..stairs? dunno what it's called larh. My uncle saw me fell n he was like "AIYOH!" n he had this panic look on his face that was kinda funny. The bad thing was it made my almost healed ankle...worse..!

4. i acted smart n i thought my tummy could take it, so i ate hokkien noodles last nite for supper! i woke up at 2am this morning puking like mad again..sigh..so here i am..skipped sch again. puked about 5 times? shat also about 5 times. this time it's indigestion n not food poisoning. i have to lay off outside food for at least another week. sobz =( i'm sick of eating porridge!!

anywayyyssss..i juz realised our blog would be 1 YR OLD *celebrates* at the end of this month.
