first day of summer

hey guys. my new semester begun today. yay!!
i'm kinda happy because i was stuck at home for the past 1 month.. besides those friday nightouts with some of you. didn't get to see my collegemates at all.

my first class was STATS. lasted like 20 minutes? then she released us. im excited to see most of my friends are in the same class as me.. and yeah im no more a new student!!

heheheh... had english102 after that. lecturer's name is really nice. Regina Chan. but she's scary la. i realised that we need to do research paper!! wat the heck? at this level? ishh.

was so drained when i came home...

so any plans on friday?? hehee.

driving test. omgwtfbbq.one word man.gah.ehhe. got up today...early on this wonderful morning..got into the car with 3 other gurls...hanisha, rachel tan, and mun yee.nice gals...=)

then had the usual..' when u river u make sure u tayar one per threee on the whaaite line aaaaaa' from mrs ang.omg.imagine me cringing every time she says 'river' (it's actually reverse btw)pretty funny...the sdc ppl were nice...i saw alvin there...n a coupla guys from taylor's too.some guy called chern?? i think from SAM..mun yee thot he was cute.heheh.

aaaaaaanywayss.....went for the road test first..my number was 100....nice num eh.just my luck.kena called first.so obv gelabah la. shiver shiver squirm squirmed my way to the car..had a nice tester..it was a downhill road from there...the usual la..checked the seat..mirrors...start enjin...safety belt...gear....wipers....indicators...bla bla bla..then start laaaa...things were like going fine....until then. berhenti sign.i braked...then hand braked...then went to clutch..free gear...then first gear...n theeeeeeeen....lift hand brake...lift clutch abit...annndddd... *chchchchchchcchhhhhh* (sound of sputtering engine)enli tries again.....*chchchhchchhhhhhhh* -repeat four times.

so obviously FAIL la.

ahha..the parking, slope, and three point turn went surprisingly well, seeing as i always thought that parking was my worst. who knew that my road....*siigh* COME ON LA... I DIDNT HAVE DRIVIN LESSON FOR THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO MY TEST LA OK. BLAME IT ON MRS ANG AND HER ' GOOT ENAAF ALEDI LAAAAAAA'.

Water.
Yes, we can't live without water.
Let me tell you how water has influenced my life...

My classmates came up with a 'hero theory'...and i was "given" a super heroic name..
And it is...*DRUMROLL*....*tang tang tang tang*

Waterboy.

Superpowers - the ability to squirt/splash/throw water at my opponents using a water bottle, which i then use to bash/hit/beat the crap out of my opponents.
Weaknesses - Larvae (as in the the mosquito larvae that grows on/in water)
How to overcome my weakness - Use 'ubat jejentik' in my super-power water.

This is the part where you go speechless.

Ironically, the other day, while i was at the toilet in college, just when i was about to pull the err, what the fck do u call that?...err..the lever?? to flush WHEN..THE BLARDY PIPE BROKE, and ALL THE WATER (it was clean water, mind you) from the tank came splashing down on me, i was all fucking wet from head to toe.

And then i had to sit in a blardy air-con room.
So much for Waterboy.

shisha?

after seeing the shisha thing for the very first time of my entire life i came home really curious what that thing is actually about. yeah, wikipedia rocks.

FYI: shisha is also known as hookah and alot of other names

A hookah's ability to produce pleasant, non-irritating smoke has led many to believe that hookah smoking is less detrimental to one's health than most other methods of smoking tobacco, such as smoking cigarettes. Unlike cigarettes, where smoke is produced by the ignition and burning of tobacco, hookahs produce a dense, flavorful smoke by heating moistened tobacco. Research has shown that fewer cancer-causing carcinogens are produced because the tobacco is heated, rather than burned. In addition to fewer carcinogens being produced, nicotine production is reduced by the lower temperatures at which the tobacco is heated. Lower nicotine production, when compared to cigarettes, means addiction to tobacco among hookah smokers happens significantly less frequently — though this may be due to cultural views and other limiting factors, such as the time required to prepare a hookah for use.

The most commonly-used hookah tobaccos (known as tobamel or maassel) are produced using a 1:2 mixture of shredded tobacco leaf mixed in with a sweetener such as honey, molasses or semi-dried fruit. Originally, tobacco was mixed with one of these sweeteners to form jurâk (e.g. Zhaghoul brand), a flavorless, moistened tobacco. The now-popular, fruit-flavored hookah tobaccos got their start in the late 1980s when Egyptian tobacco companies began experimenting with flavored tobacco as a way to sell more of their products to women. Cockles are the family Cardiidae of bivalve mollusks.

Cockles typically burrow using the foot and feed by siphoning water in and out, sifting plankton from it. They are also capable of 'jumping' by bending and straightening the foot. Unlike most bivalves, cockles are hermaphroditic and reproduce quickly.

Cockles are a popular type of shellfish in both Eastern and Western cooking. Consumption of raw cockles has been linked to hepatitis. They are also available pickled in jars and, more recently, they are often sold in convenient sealed packets (with vinegar) containing a plastic two-pronged fork.

MacTaggert explaining about a man in a coma with no brain function and goes on
to start a discussion about transferring a conciousness into the man. After the credits a brief scene is shown revealing that Xavier has somehow transferred his conciousness into the man. For those of you who left early and were somewhat disappointed with the ending, sorry. This twist at least made me not

guys i need ur help

ok..now....im in the mood of buying phones AGAIN.......omg.....so i need ur help to decide wat phone to buy......and my options are.....V3i (shan's and ollie's).....or k750 (mic's)......omg its so hard to choose........let me tell u y........v3i....is HAWT......seriously HAWT......even paris hilton will say its hawt....ok BUT BUT BUT....ive heard alot of complains about it cracking (like ollie's case).....or the phone lags...or damn slow...or sumthin like dat...........and OMG 1.3 megapixels ONLY????......its like a dumb blonde...its HAWT...but no functions...(plain stupid).............. ok...mic's phone....it has every posibble function every phone has in the market now besides 3G which i totally do not want/need........2 megapixels....im sure everywan noes how good mic's cam is.........its looks good too...but im sure randy jackson is gonna say...its AIGHT....NOT HAWT.............ok....now i will be very thankful if the owners of the above mentioned phones......shann..olz...and miccy to juz tell me anything SUCKY about their phone...all the pros and cons of their phones.......and PERSUADE ME...help me make up my mind........i think i will buy after exams...which is like.....after the 9th of june........

hows it going ppl?
well,i have nothing much to update over here..
exams have already started..ive done my chem n physics practical n my c1 n c2 maths..
erm,all ok so far..
ive got english tomorrow..so theres not much to study honestly but its not easy to score..u know how language papers are..
i cant wait for AS to be over,then i'll go to birmingham n EAT nice food..then ofcourse SHOP!

btw whats this wif cap being away from the gang cos of jon?

ohh btw we made toasties on saturday nite
it was good!!!SO GOOD!
we used my rice cooker n fried egg..add soya sauce n pepper..
n then put in chicken mixed wif thai sweeet chili sauce..+ egg+honey roasted ham (the one at ASDA..a big big supermarket..is very very nice!!) + cheeese...it was so good!will post up pics later..when i have them

and its been raining very frequently....like almost..ALMOST..everyday
so now although its..erm..summer...its still cold
but i think later next month of so it will be warmer again..

so i guess thats for it now..ive been online for too long
btw dont expect me to online as frequently as last time..cos sometimes internet connection is down etc etc...

I was browsing...

..on Wikipedia, reading about Greek Mythology when i somehow found this eerie account....(and no, nothing got to do about Mythology)..

The Electra complex is an ambiguous psychiatric concept which attempts to explain the maturation of the human female. It is said to be the female counterpart to the Oedipus complex in males. Its name comes from the Greek myth of Electra, who wanted her brother to avenge their father Agamemnon's death by killing their mother Clytemnestra.

Carl Jung proposed the name Electra complex for Sigmund Freud's concept of the "feminine Oedipus attitude" in young girls. According to Sigmund Freud, the girl is originally attached to the mother as well; however, when she discovers that she lacks a penis during the phallic stage the daughter becomes libidinally attached to her father and imagines that she will become pregnant by him, while becoming more hostile towards her mother. This is due mostly to the idea of "penis envy": that the girl is envious of her father's penis and wants to possess it so strongly that she dreams of bearing his children. She believes that the pregnancy would replace the missing penis which she envies and would allow her to gain equal status with the father.

This leads to resentment towards her mother, whom the girl believes caused her castration. According to some radical psychologists, the male psyche is the dominant entity in human relations. This may be due in part to the belief that females have a weaker superego, where morality is developed and values internalized. This judicial component of human personality is developed during the phallic stage. A dominant view of the male psyche may also be rooted in the habits of a social system, such as those descended from patriarchal cultures and family systems. In later life, so the theory goes, the girl will grow into the character type that her mother has developed as a means to attracting a man similar to her father.

Furthermore, if there is a perversion in the development of females or if their aggression is somehow stifled, resentment can in turn be displaced towards the dominant male (the father) or patriarchal cultures in general. Some say this explains lesbianism and feminism (though this is not universally accepted, as it may unsupportedly assume that women loving and/or supporting equality for other women requires an animosity toward men).

One Tree Hill

Yes i'm still waiting for one tree hill season 4!!! Its like once the season is over, then only i realise i love one tree hill so much n it's like an addiction! cant live without it..can't get enough of it! haha hopefully the series won't end so fast. i read somewhere that they might not continue one tree hill but i dunno if they meant season 4 or after season 4.

The other day, one of my primary sch frens, Jessica (oli n fm should know her) msged me telling me that there was NO season 4! i was like OMGWTFBBQ!!!!!!! then i asked her but the story is like hanging n all, we dunno what happened to nathan, rachel n cooper. then she was like huh? hanging meh? it's over what..they finished high sch already..end of story..n she started asking me who cooper was =.=...then i was thinking okayyy i couldnt have missed out some episodes so i asked her what was the last episode she watched and she said episode 17! -.-" the one where they had the cheerleading competition or sth..she said but i cant remember..so i was like *phew* ...meaning there WILL BE a season 4 (i hope)

fm or shann, either one of them la, duno who said it'll be out on may 18 which is TMR!! hallelujah! hahaah..hopefully u're right! =D cant waittt!!!

Oh yea, friday, da vinci code...who's going?! oli said he already asked all of u but not sure who can make it yet..he actually booked klcc and mv! 12 tix each! madnessss! bcuz the movie is really long and the only suitable time in mv is 6? which means the movie would end at 8.30-9! and movie tix b4 6 at mv is 6 at student rates...after 6 it's 12bux..whereas in klcc, there's one at 5.20 n movie tick is 8 bux i think..lolz but klcc too far for most of u..so i guess we're gonna stick to mv anyways..

my exam's next week n i'm still going for movies...haha wish i was more hardworking..anyways CAN'T WAIT FOR DA VINCI!! for those of u who havent read the book...sad cases la u =P ciaoz

I just finished my 100++ pages of BIOLOGY...wohhooooo..happy mad man. (of course i did leave out a few pages..kekekke..)

Now all i have to endure is the SIX HOUR LECTURE/TUTORIAL for Biology tomorrow. It's times like these i wish i had a portable compact coffee-maker.

Long day at MV

After bak kut teh, we went to MV. Got stuck in the freakin jam for more than an hour i think?! Plus parking. OMG la! Disadvatages of driving...

Okay so we watched the 3.30pm poseidon. It was quite good la i liked it! We called the rest to come but nooooo they wanna study! hardworking shit la u guyssss making me feel damn bad only!! Cap and jon came and we bought them the side row seats *wink* hahaha but we didnt catch them doing "stuff" ! ahaha we started throwing popcorn at them..damn funny!

After the movie, still quite early so me n fm decided to watch MI3!!! was damn good la! i recommend thhat ALL OF YOU should watch this in the cinema while it's still showing..but then again, most of u already watched it..except for the sad ones who choose to study at home (shall not mention names =P) hahaha jk la! love u guyss!

Oli looks quite okay too but I on the other hand, I dont get why i just can't pull off wearing shades..haha..oh wellz..

Overall, the bak kut teh was good! except that no "yau fan" ..oil rice or sth like that! We should do that more often! =D

It still works but my exterior screen broke. F*CK man. Gonna cost a bomb to repair..which is why i am thankful there are imitation screens which btw, is 7 times cheaper.

teacher's day

Today was Teacher's Day at Taylors. But i thought the real day is on the 16th or something so wtv.. Every period was shortened by 15 minutes so it was more like Student's Day =D Most peeps had 2 hours break but dunno why some classes had 2 hours and 45 minutes break including me & Kok Shen's class, so off to Sunway Pyramid we went!

Wanted to buy a white polo shirt frm FOS but they only had yucky colours left. Will try another outlet instead.. Bought some nice earings. Ate kebab.. Saw a girl with a damn chun figure ice skating but unfortunately face not so chun. Kok Shen was just sad. Couldnt see her face clearly so have to ask =p Lol. But her skating was really nice.

I would have to say that the highlight of the day was definately Kok Shen doing the parapara dance thing at the arcade for the first time of his life. HaHAha!! Laughed until stomach ache. Cause i changed too many tokens and we wanted to finish it off. NOT WASTING MONEY.

Jap / Ah lian photo session was dem funny too. We were so confused as to how to work the machines cause as usual everything's in Japanese. There was actually a picture with Kok Shen licking Riaz's nips or sth but again the timer was ticking and i didnt have time to select the picture. Just take only! Everything had to be done in a hurry.

Then we had to rush back to college 15 minutes before class started & we hitched a ride from 2 of Gan's classmates. They were like vrooming their cars in the parking lot like Initial-D. So freaking hilarious. But i got really dizzy after that cause Matt drove like a maniac & i was smsing in the car. Sliped into my seat just as Lucy Liu had her back facing the class. Then she heard the door close and accused my classmate, Lizard who's like the class prankster but that time he was really innocent but the whole class helped me accuse him also =p

a. Your chemistry teacher actually copied "her" notes from the Internet and just smacked her name on the papers. And she actually had the nerve to mention, " These are my notes, many people accused me of copying their notes, but it is not true; this is why now, I put my name on the notes " on the very first day of class. Given of course that it is hear'say, but honestly i would be SO NOT shocked if that was really the case.

b. A certain personality who was in 5C last year, and whom is now in my college has an ADMIRER.
(tsk tsk that certain someone was in IL...trust me, it's not that hard to guess). I would say the name but i dont want to do "PUBLISITI MURAHAN"

mic:B does love A a lot but i dont really bother much about B,because she doesnt play a significant role here well,the difference between option A n B is that (i feel) if he doesnt gain back his memory as that sweet guy,when he changes into a sweet one,wouldnt it be better cos he will like sort of permanently be like that..i mean he himself changed for real..well its also sad cos no more memories..oh well..i dont know..

oli: nope..its another series.. so..the VERDICT..*drumroll* wat happens is that he actually changes into that sweet guy without getting back the memories..well its sad though,cos he will nv b the same person again but well its good anyway rite..its for real.. a

nyway...i shall ask a more meaningful question then..

medical ethics: a woman was pregnant with a pair of conjoined twins..they share a heart..n it was found that one of the twins (while still in d stomach) was more viable than the other this means that one twin was weak n could die..if he dies then the other one is most likely to die so a way out is to separate them...give d heart to the healthier twin as a doctor,wat would u do? would u advise the parents...?what if they dont want to do it,they want to try their luck or even hope for a miracle to occur?(and also risk that both twins might die?) will u do it anyway,n risk getting sued,but however following the principle as a doctor to follow autonomy...beneficence and justice? well,let me hear your views.

hey people..
i need your 2 cents in here..well i dont exactly need it but it would be really interesting to get the response..
so HERE it goes..

situation:
A (guy) and B(girl) are engaged to be married...A is a rich , proud n very cold hearted guy who doesnt care about anyone n is heartless n is quite mean at times lah n quite impatient n cepat marah..but this is because he has been brought up this way in a rich n berpangkat society..
well..an accident happens n A loses his memory ..he doesnt know who he is etc..
during that period he met with C ( another girl)
so she brings out the best in him..he changes to a soft hearted, assertive n intelligent guy..he has always been like this in his heart but he doesnt know it..
and so A n C became a couple n life was happy for both of them..they had many happy times together
then another accident happens ...made A gain his memory back (means he remembers B) , but forgets about C...so he only remembers himself as this proud n cold hearted guy etc..n he goes back to B..well,its not that he really loves B, but they hav been brought up together n its like..already set since ages ago that they will b together..but its not like....romantic or anything..

and NOW..the question is..
what would you have preferred to happen?
a) A gains back his memory for C n become that nice patient n sweet guy again ?the one that he had always been inside his heart?n end up falling for C again?and ofcourse,their memories will be cherished

or

b)A never gain back his memory for C, but he slowly changes from this cold hearted guy to a sweet nice guy n end up falling for C again? but this also means that he will never really be the same sweet guy he was when he was wif C..n his memories with C are lost

i know what i would choose.not that it really matters anyway..
and i also know what the end of the story was..

ohmygosh.

i dont know how to do permutation/combination/probability and probably a whole lot more maths topics.omg.i have been slackin like hell in math.argh.over confidence is never good.i swear i f i resat for my addmath paper now i wudun have gotten an A1 for it.omg.im soo dead..hellpppp.

Econs is another subject that im dead for. teacher sucks until i oso dowanna concentrate anymore.bloody.n you all know how much i hate graphs rite.now its the graphs part of econs.n on top of all that..my teacher is horrible at explaining.ommmmmmmg.

hola!

heyyz..! im backkkk! love the beach in cherating. it was so so so amazing. so quiet and beautiful. we actually waltz-ed on the beach with the campfire. lots of cool stuff.. also, my super talented lecturer playing and singing. awesome.. and they actually translated the beatles' song, yesterday to bm. funny shit. we went back from the beach at about 2am. flew a kite the next morning and came back. I LOVE CAMPS!

watched 2 movies:
1) whale rider - a movie from new zealand and their maori culture.
2) life is beautiful - italian movie. had to read the subtitles but its so damn good.

yeah.. and now im really having my hols.. BORINGGG!

But today was the 5th time a person asked me if i had lived overseas, because i sound like i have an accent.

I'm like..WHAT?? Born and bred and Malaysia larh!.

Maybe it's the way i speak. I don't know...but i so do not have an accent man. But i'd love one though..haha..imagine me speaking in cockney...*dreams*....

no2:i got highest for LAW.AGAIN.HAHAHA! damn funny since i didnt copy.i was like so good gal man.every1 else was copying n i was like.no.no i wunt copy.cuz i studied.no.no.haha.but in the end.it was only 17/25.but still.highest.*gives herself pat on back*

no3:again.it's that time of the year where it;'s not the beginning nor the end. and i am VERY surprised that I AM stll in a long distance relationship.o.O

no4:im still nostalgic over things that happened in 2002.i got a reminder on my hp.sum annual thing. and it was for smtg tht happened in 2002 ahah.those of you who know.yeah.it;s tomoro.=/.feelings of nostalgia.i can NEVER escape this feeling as this time of the year i tell you.waiting for the day that i can look back on these times and laugh it all off(not that i cant now la.)but still..abit the *duush* in the heart.ahah.ABIT ony k.

NO DUIT RAYA!!!!

Omg i'm sitting for my driving test tmr and i'm BLARDY freaking out right now. Had my last driving lesson just now (yea like after 2 weeks of not having any lessons). Usually my parking, 3 point turn and slope would be like PERFECT, but today it's like EVERYTHING went wrong. Well not really la. I couldn't remember the steps for all 3 of them, and i gostan TWICE at the slope. I think my instructor got kinda pissed. Haha! Dun care la. That lazy bugger. I asked him to give me more classes but he kept saying he's not free. I bet he was just too lazy to teach me.

Then the "on the road" test, I'm 99.999999% SURE that i'm gonna fail! Why?? NO DUIT RAYA! I'm still unsure of everything, like when to change gear and all. I can even hardly remember the route la. Man i suck. Why can't they let us use auto cars instead! And i hope the car i get tmr would be in good shape or else sure fail wan. Sigh, I dun wanna be the first one in our group to fail wei!!!!! Maluted only =P!! haha. But then again i think all of u except capri bribed. Nyahahahha.

Oh wellz, wish me luck and pray for me! =(

I was bored..

..and i couldn't sleep (and actually a bit hungry)..so i browsed through the blog's entire archive starting from DAY ONE, which btw is September the 30th - so that makes this blog 7 months old!!!..and with 400++ posts.

Not bad not bad.

But anyway, as i was reading ALL the posts, i gotta say i miss sec school even more now..and esp you guys..sighhh. And yes, i still realize we still do not have a pic of ALL 13 of us together. I think it's like a curse you know? Twelve+One. Always missing that ONE person. Sigh.
